Massage therapy at Your-Self Holistic Center with Knot Be Gone Therapeutic Massage is a sacred, therapeutic service—designed to support relaxation, healing, and energetic balance. It is strictly non-sexual in nature.
Any behavior, comment, gesture, or innuendo of a sexual nature will result in:
• ❌ Immediate termination of the session
• 🚫 Permanent refusal of future services
• 💳 Full session fee charged, regardless of time used
• ⚖️ Possible report to authorities, depending on severity
We ask that all clients honor the space, the practitioner, and the healing process with respect and dignity. In return, you will be held in the same regard.
🛏️ Draping & Ethical Standards
In accordance with Massachusetts law and the ethical guidelines of professional massage therapy, proper draping with sheets and blankets is required at all times during your session.
Requests to remove draping will be declined, as they violate both legal and professional standards.
The only exception is if the client remains fully clothed throughout the session.
If a client disregards or repeatedly challenges this policy:
• ❌ The session will be terminated immediately
• 🚫 Future services will be refused
• 💳 The full session fee will still apply
We are deeply committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional environment—for every client, every therapist, every time. Thank you for honoring the integrity of this healing space.

🌱 First-Time Client Policy
To honor your time and ours, first-time clients are asked to prepay 20% of the session rate at the time of booking. This deposit secures your appointment and is non-refundable unless canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
Please note:
• Square Gift Cards cannot be used to pay the 20% deposit.
• If you’d like to use a Square Gift Card to hold your appointment, please text 508-556-1135 with the following details:
• Your Full Name

Your gift card will reserve your session. However, if you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment or do not show up, the gift card may be rendered invalid for future use.

⏳ Cancellation & Rescheduling
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to honor your time, our time, and the healing rhythm of the space.
• First-Time Cancellation: May be waived depending on circumstances.
• Future Appointments: After one late cancellation or missed session, a credit card will be required to hold all future bookings.
🌱 Illness & Emergency Grace
We understand that life happens. If you experience any of the following within 24 hours of your appointment, please cancel your session:
• Fever
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Known infection or contagious illness
Prompt communication is appreciated. Most cancellations due to illness or emergency will not incur charges, but this is determined case by case.
❄️ Inclement Weather
If severe weather makes travel unsafe, please prioritize your safety. We will notify you if we need to close or cancel due to conditions, and we ask that you do the same. Weather-related cancellations are generally not charged.
🔔 Late Cancellation & No-Show Policy
To maintain fairness and flow for all clients:
• Cancellations within 3 hours of your appointment:
• You may be charged 50% of the service rate, unless we can fill your spot.
• If the time cannot be filled, the full rate will apply.
• No-Show / No-Call:
• You will be charged 100% of the service rate.
• Future bookings will require full prepayment.
Deposit Policy:
If you’ve paid a 20% deposit, it is non-refundable in the event of a no-show or late cancellation.
You will be invoiced for the remaining balance.
Example:
A 1-hour massage costs $100.
If you paid $20 to reserve and do not show, an invoice for the remaining $80 will be sent.
Special Circumstances:
Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the owner.
🕰️ Arrival & Late Arrival
• Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to complete any paperwork and settle into the space.
• If you anticipate being late, call or text (508) 556-1135 as soon as possible.
• Sessions may be shortened to honor the next client’s time, but the full service fee still applies.
Our Commitment:
If we are delayed, we will extend your session or adjust the fee accordingly. We honor your time as sacred.
✍️ First-Time Intake
Once you book your first appointment, you’ll receive an intake form via email. Completing this form ahead of time helps streamline your visit and allows your therapist to prepare a session tailored to your needs.
We set aside 5 minutes at the start of each session for a focused intake conversation—covering medical history, your reason for visiting, and what you hope to receive from the session. This ensures your experience is safe, intentional, and aligned with your wellness goals.
For minors: A parent or legal guardian must complete and sign the intake form, granting permission for the massage session. Please review the waiver included in your intake email carefully.
🩺 Additional Medical Documentation
For your safety and well-being, certain conditions may require a doctor’s note before receiving massage therapy. These include:
🤰 First Trimester & High-Risk Pregnancy
If you’re in your first trimester or have a high-risk pregnancy, a physician’s clearance is required. The note should include:
• Approval for massage therapy
• Any areas to avoid due to pregnancy-related concerns
👶 Postnatal Massage
If you’re seeking massage within days of giving birth, a doctor’s note is required to confirm your body is ready for postnatal treatment.
🛠️ Post-Surgical Recovery
If you’ve had surgery within the past 6 to 8 weeks, a doctor’s note is required. It should include:
• Clearance for massage therapy
• Areas to avoid during recovery
• Any timing or technique recommendations for safe treatment
🔴 Red Light Therapy
Red Light Therapy harnesses low-wavelength red light to support the body’s natural healing processes. Known for its ability to reduce inflammation, ease pain, and enhance skin vitality, this treatment is a gentle yet powerful ally in your wellness journey.
Sessions may last up to 30 minutes per day, allowing the light to penetrate deeply and activate cellular repair.
⚠️ Before You Begin: Important Guidelines
To ensure a safe and effective experience, please observe the following:
• Skip the sunscreen: It creates a barrier that blocks therapeutic light from reaching your skin.
• Remove jewelry: Reflective metals can disrupt the light’s path and reduce its effectiveness.
• No contact lenses: Red light may irritate the eyes—please wear protective glasses or goggles.
• Review your medications: If you’re taking photosensitive drugs, consult your doctor before treatment.
• Avoid broken skin: Do not use red light therapy on open wounds unless cleared by a physician.
• Age & pregnancy caution: Not recommended for children under 13 or during pregnancy.
🧭 Important Considerations
Coaching is a powerful tool for personal growth, clarity, and forward movement—but it is not a substitute for mental health treatment. If you are experiencing emotional distress, trauma, or clinical concerns, we encourage you to seek support from a licensed mental health professional.
Your coach is not a therapist and does not diagnose or treat mental or physical health conditions. Instead, they serve as a compassionate guide, helping you navigate life transitions, clarify intentions, and stay accountable to your goals.
🌱 What Coaching Offers
Coaching is future-focused. It’s about activating your potential—not unpacking your past. This space is designed to:
• Illuminate your goals and values
• Strengthen motivation and self-trust
• Offer strategic tools for growth and alignment
• Encourage accountability with gentle structure
• Celebrate your wins and recalibrate when needed
🔑 Your Role in the Process
Transformation begins with intention. Coaching works best when you show up with openness, curiosity, and a willingness to take aligned action. This is a co-creative space—your insights, your pace, your path.
Let’s set the foundation for transformation.
